Did you know that October 1 is the International Day of Older Persons? To celebrate a successful first year plus of Amherst Neighbors and us older persons, AN is holding a community gathering via zoom. Three speakers, Pat Romney, Mindy Domb, and Jo Comerford will address different factors that contribute to living well as we grow older and what we can do to enhance healthy and engaged living for all of us as a community. The Amherst Area Gospel Choir will provide music. Time for questions and meet and greet with participants will take place between 3:30 and 4:00. The Amherst Council on Aging and Pelham Council on Aging are co-sponsoring this event.
Unfortunately, we cannot share food via zoom; however, please do bring a beverage and snack to enjoy and toast us all.
