Join Sandy Roth for a discussion of "Girl, Woman, Other", by Bernardine Evaristo, Booker Prize 2019 winner. Goodreads' review says the book is "Teeming with life and crackling with energy — a love song to modern Britain and black womanhood. Girl, Woman, Other follows the lives and struggles of twelve very different characters. Mostly women, black and British, they tell the stories of their families, friends and lovers, across the country and through the years.

Be sure to read the book ahead of time. In the mean time you can watch an interview with Bernardine Evaristo done by The Waterstones (Oct 17, 2019).
