About this event
Amherst Neighbors is invited to preview an exhibition at Amherst College's Mead Art Museum. The exhibition, Re/Presenting: Art Beyond the Color Line, challenges ideas of how beauty, value, power, and presence are displayed in a multi-racial, multi-generational, multi-class democracy. A guide will take us on a back galleries tour to view, discuss, and interact with a handful of artworks from the upcoming exhibition. For Members interested in making art, the guide can introduce activities from the museum’s Drawing Differences curriculum.
