We all crave a good night’s sleep and understand how important sleep is to our health and wellbeing, especially as we age. However, like many other things, sleep changes with age and while many older adults feel well rested and satisfied with the quality of their sleep there are still many others who wish for a better night’s rest. In this interactive presentation, we will learn from Dr. Wendy Chabot about the importance of sleep, the function of sleep, how sleep changes with age, and what we can do to reap the benefits of healthier sleep no matter one's age.
After 30 years providing pediatric primary care, Dr. Chabot transitioned to the field of behavioral sleep medicine. She currently consults with people of all ages who would like to use non-medication approaches to improving their sleep.
