Lorna Ritz, a local painter artist who has studied the Holyoke Mountain Range landscape in drawings from Mt. Pollux for 36 years, will offer a 3-hour in person outdoor workshop on landscape drawings. She welcomes participants with all levels of artistic expression from beginners to professionals, across cultures. The workshop will be held at Mt. Pollux, South Amherst. Lorna offers instruction, demonstration and individual support to anyone wanting to draw. She is an experienced painting instructor at all levels of artistic expression from beginners to professionals, across cultures. In this 3-hour workshop, we will focus on the mountains, the sky, clouds and trees.
Since you'll be outdoors, you'll want to protect yourself from ticks, wear a visor hat so you won't need sunglasses that can alter how you see the colors, and bring water.
Participants provide their own materials. Here are the suggested art materials:
1. a portable vertical easel,
