Join us at Amherst Neighbors as we have the wonderful opportunity to honor the publishing of member Audrey Child’s memoire, “OVER HOME”, which tells the story of her life growing up in small town Henry, Illinois, where everyone knew everyone. While living in Cork, Ireland, Audrey discovered that she was drawn to writing through her correspondence back home to friends and family. Over the
years she has continued to write, culminating in her gathering together many of the pieces as found in her book “OVER HOME”, which is the term used by her mom and sisters when referring to anything to do with their parents. During this program, Audrey will read from her book and respond to questions and
comments from participants.
“OVER HOME” is available at Off the Common Bookstore in Collective Copies in Amherst for $17.00 or on their website.
